We left New Orleans feeling inspired to keep democratizing data access and looking forward to next year’s meeting. Here’s just a sliver of some of the posters at PAA this year that were #poweredbyIPUMS. It’s always exciting to see the many posters and presentations using IPUMS. Boyle pioneered IPUMS Global Health, democratizing access to women and children’s health data and unleashing innovative new streams of cross-national comparative research. Sync data with one press and no cables Automatically and safely merge edits. Presser Award for her record of sustained research contributions to the study of gender and demography. A collaborative space allowing you to store and synchronise projects across. It can also merge Large Ships onto stations. We also were thrilled to celebrate with Elizabeth Heger Boyle. A pair of Merge Blocks can merge two ships of the same size into one, either temporarily or permanently. This year was a little extra special because we also gathered to celebrate 30 years of IPUMS. NOTE: This mod contains BOTH Large and Small Blocks. This is not allowed because 2 blocks can’t be in the same place on 1 grid. If you merge them, the piston and piston head will occupy the same space because they would be forced to be on the same grid with each other. Then you can build back in your connecting blocks and take out the merge ones. And the reason is because the piston head is the beginning of the subgrid and is part of the subgrid. Make your additions and put merge blocks an either side, then reverse the piston again to connect. For those using Large Block Torpedo Parts previously, please switch over to this mod. Lock both sets, grind down the center line, and hit the piston to pull the pieces apart. TheWitch has retired from SE with all the mods pending takeover by new modders. We love having conversations with users at our booth, at poster sessions, at presentations, or even just in the lobby. This is the re-uploaded Large Block Torpedo Parts MK2 compatible with Beta Version of SE. We attend the Population Association of America (PAA) annual meeting every year and we are always inspired by the outstanding research being shared.
